FA16-Final Week-Final Project

This game prove to be a game not everyone would take to but its come to be fun and definitely worth playing and a help to enhance players process of elimination skills. The game has really come a long way but still has some improvements that needed to be made. The game is meant to help build the skill that most people need. Everyone takes a test at one point in their life and it make sense to build a skill that can help them succeed. The game is meant to improve upon something most people should have. In the end the game is some what successful to most people that are appealed to this game.

FA16- Week 16-Project17

The game is teaching players how to deal with answering questions. It can help players enhance their skills in everyday subjects. The questions range from our typical learning criteria such as math, reading, science, and history. I am trying to teach a general skill of studying more.The cognitive is most affected because this game requires the players to use their head. The design doesn’t affect the system they complement each other. The game design affects the cognitive process of memory and decision making during game play. It attempts to affect the system because it’s up to the player to make the correct decision and have the muscle memory to remember what they have learned to advance.My results supports the thesis because it allows the players to get a first-hand experience with answering questions, that aren’t in their comfort zone.The primary objective is to play as yourself meaning you are the character then, use them to go into different scary houses that are meant to represent our basic genre of learning. The game objective does reinforce the learning objective because they’re kind of the same thing.It prevent players from acting out of context. It can be fun because players can enjoy a fun learning and adventurous game. It contributes to the objective because the purpose is to learn something not get angry.

Question Killers

My experiment helps people use more of their cognitive thinking when it comes to figuring out different questions. It relates using simple comprehension skills to find the correct answer.It helps advance the field because it encourages players to improve on skill that everyone should posse. Everyone goes to school sometime in their life, where they eventually have to take a test. So therefore it allows players build on a skill that most should have.

Abstract
The rules of the game is to answer as many questions as the player can without losing their lives. If the player loses all their lives they have to wait a certain amount of time for them to refill.

Once the player beats the level the questions alternate from being easy to hard going to level three, then switches from hard to easy on the other levels. The resources that is spent is the amount lives the player has. The level of
difficulty or easiness the player faces once completion of a level.
Conclusion
The game is a fun but yet challenging and its worth playing even though it may appeal to a certain type of player. It still worth playing depending on who you are and would like to get out of it.

It’s a one player game so there is no other player to player interaction.

FA16 – Week 12- Project 17

Question Killers is a game that’s played on the current knowledge of a person. It can be seen as a fun way to study or just to test yourself about how much you know in general. This game can be played by almost any age group but the questions will just have to be adjusted by the age group. This game shows how much the average person knows base on their current education level or what they know in general. The subjects that I have allowed to play the game so far really enjoyed the game. It made them think outside the box because of the questions that were asked of them to answer. They also compared the game to being like Jeopardy but not including the points factor of it. They also liked the fact that I gave them hints if they were stuck to long on a question. This factor helped them answer the questions more successfully. The game is good for basic use purposes. It really shows how people can learn something from playing games not just blowing things up and etc.

FA 16 – Week 11

This week I had a few colleagues of my test the game out. It was a pretty good test run of the game but will come a long more successfully. The game really shows what they of audience will appeal to the game more but each person enjoyed the aspect of the game. Question killers are for people that just like to brush up on basic learning skillls. This game can really be a fun way for people to study. It can be used towards a flash card kind of way of studying. It’s just a fun way to test yourself on different subjects. It can also be used among any age group to study with. It’s obviously a clear way to develop sufficient study skills.

FA16- Week 10

I used 6 different subjects for my gaming experiment so that it may be easier for me to get more of a variety for my data collection. This helped me to discover that my game my not appeal to almost everyone but a certain group of people. No, one likes to always feel like their learning but the game comes in handy when you want to learn a specific category. The game consist of a board that will be divided up into different categories such as math, reading , science and history. Choosing from these groups makes it easier for people to brush up on their common core learning. This game seems like its going to appeal more to people that are willing to stay fresh up on typical learning criteria. But for my subjects in the experiment I just had them play the game until they reach level 4. Once they reached their I gave out my questionnaires and recorded their responses to the game. After getting back my results it was much very much to be expected but it was still successful enough.

The name of the game is called Question Killers. The game is for players that are trying to enhance their problem solving skills by playing different learning criteria within the game. The game is teaching players how to deal with answering questions. It can help players enhance their skills in everyday subjects. The questions range from our typical learning criteria such as math, reading, science, and history. I am trying to teach a general skill of studying more.The player has a full interaction with the game. This support the game fully because it allows the players to be more involve with their experience. The game mechanics consist of beating levels and once the player beat a level the player can get points to win awards like hints for the next level. The game also allows the player to have a certain amount of lives and once they run out, the player must wait a certain amount of time for them to refill. this game requires the players to use their head. The design doesn’t affect the system they complement each other. The game design affects the cognitive process of memory and decision making during game play. It attempts to affect the system because it’s up to the player to make the correct decision and have the muscle memory to remember what they have learned to advance.There is one player engaged in the game at a time. In conclusion the game is up to the challenge of helping the players have fun and to learn something from it. It has two benefits from it and that’s something that you can’t go wrong with.
