Project 20 Week 5

Describe the topic of Interest
The general idea of this project is basically to promote confidence in children so that they will perform and participate in their classroom.  These children will not be shy or scared to participate because they will have confidence in themselves to answer questions correctly or incorrectly.  Participating is a big issue in college because it counts as a percentage to your overall grade.

Describe what work has been done in the field
Some work has been done in this field but not quite as to my topic of interest.  The work that was studied previously was how can an introvert acquire some extroverted behavior and vice versa.  The introverted person that acquired the extroverted behavior actually did really well working with other people.  Their skills were phenomenal because they exerted their individual skills and learned to collaborate with other team members.  This was interesting because not everyone knows how to participate in a group but this person set each person with a unique job so that each job was done and all the work was compiled together for one fun project.

Describe what work needs to be done, or what gaps exist in our knowledge
My goal is to do a create a game that will attempt to promote confidence in children.  This will be performed on 100 children and occasionally checked upon to see their progression in their classes if they are participating.  This game will be designed to show how easy it is to be brave and participate when a teacher or professor asks the entire classroom a question.  A gain from this will be instilling extroverted behaviors into introverted children and introverted behaviors into extroverted children.

Discuss how your study will fill those gaps
My study will fill those gaps because once an introverted child has acquired extroverted behaviors or vice versa, they will begin to understand that there are many people similar to them and they will not be shy or scared at all.  This will defeat their fear and the child will become more compatible to other peers.  It will form encouragement all around and confidence will be built for these children.

State your thesis as a prediciton
It is predicted that confidence will boost a child to perform the best to their ability and allow them to adopt either introverted qualities if they are an extrovert or extroverted behavior if they are an introvert.
